Le système SEF n’est alors utilisé que dans le cas d’un bicolore 6-5

Je suis en train d’apprendre le bridge et il y a certains cas d’annonces que je maîtrise encore mal.
Un point particulier qui je me pose problème sur une ouverture majeure: le fait que si le partenaire à 16H ou plus, il ne doit pas annoncer le fit directement mais passer par une autre couleur.

Je ne comprend pas pourquoi et ce que je vois dans les donnes que je fais, c’est que dans la plupart des cas, on est seulement au premier tour, et il y a du coup une incertitude sur la signification du changement de couleur: je me suis plusieurs fois retrouvée en situation d’abandonner un contrat, car je pensais qu’on avait pas de fit, alors qu’on en avait bien un, mais du à la limite du 16H, mon partenaire avait changé de couleur au lieu de l’annoncer.

Du coup j’ai deux questions:
1. Pourquoi retardé l’annonce du fit en majeure quand on a plus de 16 points?
2. Quand le partenaire fait un tel changement de couleur, comment savoir si c’est juste une annonce naturelle car il n’a pas de fit, ou bien une annonce retardée de fit?
